WEEKEND RUNAROUND
Coolagown 10Km
This took place on a very damp misty Thursday evening which was a fine evening for running as we saw both the men's and the Ladies course records being broken.
We had four runners there and all ran well with Conor Cronin doing his first 10Km having an excellent run battling it out with John Cashman (Happy Birthday John). Ger O'Regan was our first runner home with another solid run as had Amanda Cooney who was once again our sole female runner.
EAST CORK TRACK
A reminder that the highlight of the ECAD track season for Senior, Masters, and Junior athletes takes place on June 23rd, once again hosted by Carraig Na Bhfear AC. A huge thank you to the club and all the volunteers for hosting this fantastic event.
This really is a great event and well worth supporting. There are events suitable for everyone and is really a fun evening. If you can't run please come and support. Events like this need your support to keep them going.
