Cross Country For Everyone
Give It A Go

Next Sun sees the annual BHAA cross country race take place in Beaumount Park Blackrock a small but beautiful city park. Its very easy to get to being near Mulgrave Park and Parc Ui Ring .This is an ideal race to try out cross country as it is in a non competitive atmosphere and great fun.The distance is short 5Km which most have run before and who knows cross country may suit you better than the road. You wont know until you try. Its only three times around a small park and it could change your life.
Remember most serious runners use cross country as a strength building exercise so it could also help you improve your times. Those training for Ballycotton 10 can easily do their long run on Saturday and do a gentle jog for 3.1 Miles at the cross country on Sunday.
Go on “Give It A Go” and see how you like it. If not come along and support and experience the fun.
Spikes are NOT required.
