Adare 10Km

John Dunphy gave himself a fine workout when running a time of 44.13 in Adare 10Km today.

Mealagh Valley Ring 10 Mile

In a race that describes itself as Blood, Sweat and Tears and then add into the mix the wind and rain we had this morning you will get some idea of what this was like. Brutal is the word used to describe it. That did not daunt to mighty Midleton AC ladies who came home with fantastic results Sheila Buckley 2nd overall and Helen Gilroy 3rd overall. Well done ladies great to see ye getting back there.

Dungarvan 10Km

Saving the best result (highest finish) till last we had a winner here in Dungarvan this morning. Anna Doris also braved the wind and rain and was 1st Lady home. Over a tough course with a very strong headwind from mile two on she claimed another well deserved victory. Not leaving it all to the ladies Sean O'Sullivan took 1st O/45 with another great run and John Cashman also had a fine run.

UPCOMING
Charity 4 mile Fun run/walk in Whitegate - Sat 28th Feb 2015

From the organisers.......On the 28th February there is a Run /Walk starting at Whitegate School 10am for walkers and 11am for runners. Martin Coleman was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in April 2011. We need to raise 10,000 euro to enable us to purchase a Smartbox and software (SB Mounted) for Martin. The smartbox Tablet will give Martin back the ability to ring people, to go on the internet, to change the TV channel and work any infrared device. This is vital as this will enable Martin to keep up with the world.
