Family Fun Day
It is hard to put into words what a fantastic day we had today except to say a huge thanks to the main organisers on a truly wonderful event. Who won what and times did not matter we has just a wonderful time seniors and juveniles families and friends coming together. Great food, great competitions and mighty craic. Well done to all involved ye really did the club proud and here's to another fifty years.

Today Rose and I completed a 2.6Km swim from Ballycotton Pier to Ardnahinch Beach Garryvoe. It was cold, deep, very choppy and at least 1Km further than either of us had ever swum before. We did this with 17 other swimmers a number of Kayaks and the Ballycotton lifeboat in aid of Marymount hospice. They do amazing work and anybody can donate at any time at the following link http://www.marymount.ie/?page_id=1545
Brandon Half Marathon
We had one man out here today where conditions were good except for a few showers and a stiff breeze on the way back. Declan Dorgan finished in a very respectable 5th place overall in a time of 1.32. Well done Declan.

Sinead comes 1st Again and PBs all round.
Some great running tonight in the Youghal 5 Km from all our club members with several PBs and a 1st O/35 for Sinead Keavney who finished fourth overall. Well done everyone on what was a wet night but was followed by a superb spread after as always. Thanks Youghal AC for another great night.
Just some of our PBs David Moynihan knocked 47 seconds off his PB, Ger O'Regan PB of 19.39 as did Trevor Condon 19.19. The proof of the training is in the times.
