The cross country season is well underway now and we have had some fantastic results so far. Well done to all who have taken part. The next competition on the calendar is:
Cork County Novice B and Masters Cross country championships on 6 November in Carrignavar.
To be eligible for novice B an athlete must not have won a medal in any cross country championship event in the current season at any level. Previous individual novice B medal winners are also excluded.
Everyone over the age of 35 on the day of the race is eligible to run in the masters.
These will be run as two separate races, so it is only possible to run in either the Novice B or the Masters. For those who are eligible to run in both races, a decision about which to be entered in will be made based on the numbers of athletes we have available for each team. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions on the above.
Could I ask anyone who would like to run in either of the above races to kindly contact me by this Thursday, 27 October as I will be away next weekend and have to get the entry in before then.
