Gold for Sinead Keavney and Bronze for our Men O/50 and individual Bronze for Edmond O'Sullivan O/50.

And NEWSFLASH
Result just in Louise Barry takes Bronze with 3rd O/35 in Cork County

Another fantastic day of running by our club members when we saw Sinead Keavney win O/35 Individual Gold and some superb running from Louise Barry and Claire Parker both of whom has great runs and we would have easily won team medals if we had one more lady out there.
Our men also had great runs with Edmond O'Sullivan taking individual bronze O/50 and our team of Edmond O'Sullivan, John Cashman and Paul Kierans (who ran Dublin Marathon last Sunday) take the bronze team medals. Fransis Maunsell (who also ran Dublin), Edwin Cashman and Ger O'Regan also had great runs but alas did not have teams.

David Moynihan (who also ran Dublin) had a great run also to finish in the top fifteen in the Novice Men.

A big thank you also to Vicki Peters and the support crew who are so important when every cheer counts.

The Hunt (the final entry)

‘I am going to hunt you down. I am going to hunt you down’. Now there may have also been the employment of the F word in that sentence, which was perhaps unfortunate for the male runner just in front of me, its usage reflected more the wave of positive emotion that swept over me rather than anything of murderous intent. It was 28 k and I suddenly felt great!
