Another Great Night Of PBs and Prizes For Our Club

Tuesday 1st August saw the eight running of this great race. As always it was top class in every aspect and great to see so many from our club involved in the organisation under the able stewardship of Margaret Twohig.

Loads of the members came away with PBs including Alan Morley (by 30secs),Derek Aherne, Mark O'Reilly, Paul Geary and Paul Spiteri who broke the seventeen minute mark for the first time. Fergal O'Meara also had a great run taking 2nd O/40. Donie O'Connell was 3rd O/60.

Our ladies faired fantastic with Louise Barry 1st O/35 and a PB to boot. Helen Gilroy finished 5th overall and 1st O/50 whilst Joan Hough was once again 1st O/55 and Catriona McGregor 2nd O/55and Amanda Cooney was 3rd.. Kathleen O'Connell was 2nd O/60 and Margaret Barry had her best run in a while took 1st O/65. Apologies if I missed anyone please just email me mdtacinfo@gmail.com
