On a muggy and misty evening the Novartis 5Km took place over its usual up and down course. We had four runners there a far cry from when it was the most popular race on the calendar and we would have thirty to forty runners there. The evening went very well with very strong running from Martha and Michael McNamara showing their training is starting to pay dividends with Martha winning 3rd O/55.
A total of three hundred and twenty ran which is a drop of around one hundred on last year.
