Registeration is now due and must be paid before the end of January in order to run or train with the club. The full fee for the year is 60euro. This is by far the best value around.

NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME
You get Athletics Ireland  Insurance whist at official club training, subsidised race entries, subsidised club gear and the advice of qualified coaches who will devise a personal training plan to suit your needs. (There are lots of unqualified coaches out there whose only experience is to download you a plan from the internet and pretend its theirs and charge you for it.)
You will also meet a wonderfully  friendly group of people to run and train with.

Dupont - FMC 5Km

Great Results All Round

On a beautiful morning for running a great crowd of four hundred and twenty turned out for the Dupont FMC 5Km on Sunday morning. After initial confusion as to if it was a 5Km or a 6Km it turned out to be a 5Km and a great one at that.
We had as usual a very large crew from the club in our various colours and it was great to see both men and womens teams in the prizes as well as several individual prizes.

Siobhán O'Leary was our first Lady home and she won 1st O/45 and along with Kathleen O'Connell led the Midleton Town Council Lady's Team to the 2nd Grade C prize.

Our men also had lots of prizes with Midleton Town Council getting 2nd Grade A  Team with a team of Morgan O'Regan, Edwin Cashman and new kid on the block Henry Milward. Our individual winners were John Cashman 2nd O/55, Neilus Aherne 1st O/60 and Donie O'Connell 3rd O/65. Well done to all who ran and to the great crowd of supporters we had there.

( Thanks to Louise Barry for the extra photo's.)

Coming up next weekend one of the best races around and only down the road. Everyone had a chance of winning this race. You predict your time and start the race at that countdown time. If you win your name is carved in stone at Colligan Wood. Our own great Kathleen O'Connell is a former winner.

This well worth looking into
