Dungarvan 10
Another fantastic day at the John Treacy 10 Mile in Dungarvan where we had a great crowd from our club and all did very well. Our first man home with a very fine run was Edwin Cashman doing exactly the time he predicted and our first lady was Helen Gilroy. The race was superbly organised as usual by West Waterford AC.Apologies to anyone whose photo I missed.
Helen Gilroy continued with her great tradition of prizewinning in Dungarvan when she won 3rd O/50 which is fantastic especially as she is just back from holidays.
Some more shots thanks to Sheila Bulman
Carrigaline 5Km
Sineád Comes First Again
The monthly Carrigaline 5Km took place on Sat 1st Feb. and once again Midleton AC had a first placed finisher with Sineád O'Driscoll first over the line. This is Sineád second time coming first here and the third time in succession for a Midleton AC athlete to be first over the line with Vicki Spiteri coming first in December and Sineád coming first in November.
Our own race The Joe Hourighan Midleton 5 takes place on Thursday 7th May. Save the date and spread the word.
More exciting news about the race coming
very soon
Best of luck to all running this weekend and hopefully ye all will have a good Dungarvan 10.
