Venlo Half Marathon

 Well done to Martha McNamara who wore the club colour's in Venlo today Sunday. She  finally got to do the half marathon in Venlo after trying since 2015.

It was a  tough day with 30 degrees. There was a fantastic atmosphere all along the way. She was delighted to  to complete it. Some achievement especially in that heat.

Surf and Turf

Margaret Twohig did this one Saturday morning and really enjoyed it.

Glen River Park Run

After a fine run in Bweeng last Sunday Henry Milward was flying again Saturday morning when he came 1st in the Glen River Park Run in 19.19. Well done Henry 

Best Of Luck

Best of luck to Martha McNamara who is doing a half marathon in  her home place in the Netherlands this weekend.

YOUGHAL 5KM

Loads of Prize Winners

A great nights racing took place in Youghal on Thursday evening. In ideal conditions for running a fast flat course and no wind saw a lot of PBs ran. We had a lot of runners there with John Hennessy our first man home and taking 1st O/50 whilst Vicki Spiteri was 4th Lady and 1st O/35.

 Claire Fitzgerald 3rd O/45.

 Breda Sheedy 1st O/55 

 Kathleen O'Connell 1st O/65.

 Donie O'Connell 2nd O/70.

Paul Geary had another fine run getting his second PB in a week and also Tony Murray who continues to improve with every race got a PB also.

Maurice Ring was another member who got a PB

Well done also to Medbh Collins wearing the Midleton AC singlet for the first time after her transfer to us,
