As much help as possible is required to advertise this race. Unfortunately there is the  BHAA Stryker  5km Race the night before in Carrigtwohill despite the fact that our race has been held on the first Thursday in May for over forty years.

 These things happen so we will have to push extra hard to get the crowds in this year. So do please tell your friends and fellow runners that the Midleton 5 is the best race in East Cork with a great spread after.

Mallow 10 Mile

We had three runners here in Mallow today. The wind was very tough and definitely had a bearing on peoples times. The new course/route seemed to work very well. Margaret Jones was once again amongst the prize winners taking 3rd 0/55 Bernie Twomey and Amanda Cooney also had good runs.

Barcelona Marathon

Great Running From Nicole Versluijs In Barcelona

Nicole writes 

"I wanted to say thanks to you and the coaches at Midleton AC. I did Barcelona marathon last weekend and I was really happy with it. I have improved a lot since I’ve been training with ye. My average pace for Brussels marathon in November was 6:39 /km and for Barcelona last weekend was 6:09 /km"

Well done Nicole we are super proud of your achievements as you yourself should be a massive improvement
