County Track and Field Championships

BRONZE for Denny McLean 

Dinny McLean won Bronze in the 800m at the Senior County T&F Championships last night in MTU. In a large field of 17 athletes he crossed the line in a PB of 1:58:03, his 2nd sub 2 mins of the year having broken it for the first time just a few weeks ago.

Over three hundred ran here in Ringaskiddy on Wed evening where Neilus Aherne came 3rd O/65 and Amanda Cooney ran also.

Nationals

National U20 & U23 T&F Championships take place in Tullamore on July 5th. Anyone looking  to compete please let me know (and which event) before next Monday 29th June. John Hennessy
