Ballyheigue Half Marathon

Modesty is Rosie Young's second name when she neglected to tell us she came 3rd Lady in the Ballyheigue Half Marathon on Saturday morning.

This is one of the toughest courses around and this is a really great achievement. Our ladies are really coming up trumps these days. Well done all.

Cork City Marathon Updated Results

Kathleen Ryan Midleton AC has been upgraded to 2nd O/35 and a Top Ten Finisher in the latest results issued by the Marathon Organisers today.

This delay was caused by so many men running with women's numbers they had to check the finishing videos for confirmation etc

Cork County Junior, Senior and Masters Track & Field Championships
Cork County Junior, Senior and Masters Track & Field Championships take place next Sunday 22nd June in MTU. Anyone looking to compete please let me know before next Wednesday 18th June. Conna 5Km



A total of 116 runners ran in Conna on Friday evening. We had two runners there John Hennessy who finished 1st O/45 andin 9th place overall and Maurice Corcoran who had a fine run also and continues to improve with every race.

New Cloyne Race

.Cloyne Summer 4k race on Sunday July 13th at 9.30am.registrations on the day will be available from Hartys Bar.Entry €5 and all proceeds go to Marymount Hospice.There will be plenty prizes for runners and there will be donation buckets available on the day should anyone wish to contribute more than the €5 entry to a great cause.












Musgraves 5Km BHAA



Musgraves 5Km took place on Wednesday evening on the Marina and we had a large number of runners there and all had very fine runs.

 Rod Scanlan clocked 17.35 for a new PB knocking 35 seconds off his PB from Cloyne in 2013. Like a good wine he is improving with age. Mark Cronin broke the 18min once again A thing he is making a habit of these days. Ger O'Regan was back in form also taking 2nd O/55 prize. A total of six hundred and fifteen finished.
