Five Went Up To Kiskeam Four Came Back With Prizes

In what was a very strong wind against the runners all the way the Boherbue to Kiskeam again proved a real success for Midleton AC athletes. Denis Kelleher continued his dramatic improvment and despite having raced the half marathon in Connemara last weekend and in Killarney he was first in the o/45 s today as well as finishing eleventh over all Well done Denis.Next home was the ever consistant Tom Cody who took 2nd o/55 and then Danny Mc Carthy who ran Kilnaboy yesterday managed to take 3rd o/60 today.

The ladies were well represented by Margaret Twohig who took 2nd o/45 Joan Mc Carthy who also ran Kilnaboy yesterday narrowly missed out on the prizes despite a good run.

Well done to all in what was as always a great day out with really excellent prizes.Some of our members are still down there dancing as I write this. Danny
