CROSS COUNTRY SUNDAY NEXT

East Cork Senior Cross Country
This Sunday, 16 November the East Cork Senior Cross Country Championships take place in Carrignavar.  The women's race will start between 12.30 pm and 1.00 pm.  The men's race will be after that.  The distances are 6000m for the men and 4000m for the women.

There is no need to enter in advance for this race, but if you do plan to run, it would be helpful if you could let Helen know so we can have the names ready on the day.  Helen's nr is  086 2713072.

We hope to have both women's and men's teams.  It will be great training and experience for anyone, but particularly worthwhile for those running in the Munster Masters on 30th November .

As Sally says this is great training experience but for those of you who have expressed an interest in trying cross country this is an ideal opportunity ( one of the last this year) to try it in a nice friendly atmosphere where several can run together and help each other if they wish. Everyone is well able for the distances and there will be no pressure to perform so as Sally says Go For It . Don't be waiting till next year. Danny
