Masters Cross-Country
On Sunday, 19th
of October, at the Jerry Farnan X-C in the Phoenix Park, Joan Hough
representing Midleton A.C. was 6th
in the trials for the Irish O/55 team and was selected as a reserve for the
team.
In the meantime Joan
was called up to represent Ireland on the U/50 team for the British & Irish
Masters CC Championships at Nottingham on Saturday 22nd of November.
Unfortunately due to
a nasty fall and injury, it was regret that Joan had to cry off the team.
How unfortunate for Joan and the club.Its a rare occasion that we get someone on a national team.
I am sure that everyone in the club wishes Joan a speedy recovery
