The Reindeer Run

There was a great atmosphere at this fun run in Fota Sunday morning with the main emphasis being on the fun. We had several athletes there including The Fantastic Four from the beginners group who this time became 4 + 1 being joined by Flor Horan. Louise Barry made her come back after her marathon success and as can be seen from the photos she has two new coaches.

 

Overall it was a beautiful morning for running and athletes of all levels helped this very worthy cause.

It seems like a quiet weekend on the racing front but lots of hard training seems scheduled in the woods and on the roads. I know we have some people doing the Reindeer Run in Fota on Sunday and we wish them the very best.

Midleton AC Athletes make the Cork Teams for the Munster Masters

I am delighted to report that we have several athletes invited on to the Cork Teams for the Munster Masters Cross Country Next Sunday week in Wwatergrasshill our Ladies who have been picked are Sally Drennan, Margaret Jones Helen Gilroy, Joan Hough and Marie Gillman all selected for the Ladies O/45 Cork Team and John Cashman was selected for the Cork O/50 team. Well done all.
