STRYKER 4 Mile

This race took place in ideal conditions on Wednesday evening and attracted its usual huge crowd. Once again it proved to be one of the best organised races around. We had some fine runs there with a few PBs thrown in and of course we had some prize winners as well. Noel O'Regan took 2nd O/45 with a fine run showing his comeback is going to plan also Don Ryan who is also just back from injury had a very good run.
Our ladies were also in the prizes and to a huge cheer Helen Sheehan took 3rd O/45 and as this was Helen's first ever prize for running it was a special occasion. A lady who is well used to prizes at this stage even though she is in a tough category is Marie Gillman who took 1st O/50 with another fine run. Well done to everyone who ran and a big thanks to those who came to support us.
