A hugely popular local race which is always very well organised over a flat fast course.

 

St Catherine's always organise a great event. This one has a few steep hills both up and down.

 

This Kinsale race seems to have been the focus of the August Bank Holiday weekend for decades. We used to take a bus there at one time. It is where to go if you are running well and want a new PB. It is well regarded as the fastest five mile course in the county. 

 

 

 

Cork BHAA

 

There is also a BHAA race this week the Novartis 5Km. This takes place at 8pm from Novartis Hqs. in Ringaskiddy. Once again it is a very popular race and always draws a great crowd and there is usually a free t shirt for all finishers.
