WEEKEND RUNAROUND

Ballymacarbry 5 Mile

(Thanks to Regina for the photo)

Big congrats to Michael Abernethy who ran the Ballymacarbry 5mile on Friday evening where he got a PB with a time of 31.35. This fine running on this course which is "out and back" but a turn off on the way back brings you uphill on some rough terrain (not road). The race is part of the West Waterford Series.

There were almost three hundred runners in Ovens on Thursday evening. From what I saw we had one runner Sheila Buckley who came 3rd O/35.

UPCOMING RACES

Keep this one in mind Ladies 16th Sept (pre entry required). It would be great to see a mass of Midleton AC colours out there. We always get a nice crew but could always do with many more. Its for a great cause and deserves support.
