The Great Glenville 4Mile Run
A beautiful morning for a run and one of the best organised races I have seen in a long while. We had Ann Geary 3rd Lady overall and some excellent running also from Barry O'Shea our first man home and 8th overall. We also same some fine running from Margaret Jones 2nd O/45, Bernie Twomey, Joan McCarthy and Kathleen O'Connell. Donie O'Connell had a great run also being narrowly pipped for a prize and Barry Drennan also had a fine run. A total of three hundred and eighty seven ran.
Whilst "run of the day" must go to Tom Conlon who is part of our C25K group and running his first race in sixteen years and had a great run to boot.
David Moynihan Makes History
Big congratulations to Midleton ACs David Moynihan who made history today in being the first person home in the Glen Park 5Km Parkrun also to Ger O'Regan who finished 11th overall. Well done guys.
