Ten Prize Winners From Our Club

A new record entry of one thousand two hundred and thirty seven entries in Ballintotis on Wednesday evening. Ann Geary was our first lady home finishing 2nd Lady retaining her position from last year and young Frank O'Brien MJ (only eighteen last week)was our first man home coming 4th overall in 21 mins.. There were lots of other fantastic runs out there including Helen Gilroy taking 1st Lady O/50 and Alanna Drennan winning 1st Jnr. and Billy Griffin our oldest member taking 1st O/80. Apologies to anyone whose photo I missed we had so many there.
A very special mention must go to Trisha Deady running her first race ever. Trisha was part of our C2 5K group but was injured when the selected 5Km was being run and not content to wait for another 5km she started with Ballintotis 4 mile and did herself and running buddies Claire and Karen proud. Well done Trisha.
