Midleton AC Virtual 5 k Series!
Week 2:
Well done to all that participated this week. There were some very impressive results from a large number of people with Caroline Geary being first woman home and Morgan O'Regan once again being quickest man.
Once again we saw very commendable times being posted by all athletes this week and it's great to see efforts being made by all runners as we all strive to improve our times and general fitness on a weekly basis. Well done to all that participated these past 2 weeks and thanks for supporting our little event!
As you know, the aim of this series is to track the improvements made by our athletes over a 4 week period and last week (the first run) set the benchmark that each runner will be competing against.
In a week that saw all but 4 participants improve their time from last week the top 5 runners in terms of weekly improvement were
Dan Twohig 6 min 19 seconds
Sinead White 6 min 01 seconds
Andre Brodkorb 5 min 36 seconds
Norma Moore 3 min 16 seconds
Paul Moore 2 min 28 seconds

Week 3 begins from 6am Tuesday 19th May and results will be accepted up until 9pm Wednesday 20th May.
