A wonderful evening of running was held in Carrignavar on Thursday. It was very well organised and a credit to the East Cork Division and the host Club Carrignavar AC.
We were well represented by two Master Athletes and several Juniors and lots of juveniles. Frank O'Brien had a great run in the Junior 3000m to claim an easy victory.
In the Master's 3000m John Hennessy ran a classic race which was a lesson in how to win a race. John bided his time until the final straight where he cut loose to claim victory in fine style. Ger O'Regan running his first 3000m on track had an excellent run also to get a new PB.
Don't forget you can still enter for the races there next week See previous post and just text Sally.
