WEEKEND RUNAROUND
County Novice Cross Country Championships
Words cannot express the admiration I have for our four ladies who ran today in the County Novice Cross Country Championships. They ran in atrocious conditions of strong wind and lashing rain. We are a lucky club to have such ladies amongst our members.
Our ladies were led home by Caroline Geary, Louise Barry, Loveness Hegarty and Margaret Twohig and all ran extremely well. Louise had been there since early morning since her daughter Eve was running in the Juvenile events and Margaret Twohig had climbed Galtee Mor yesterday morning and in the evening ran Roscarberry 5Km.
Well done ladies ye really did the club proud.
