WEEKEND RUNAROUND

No official training on Monday evening as it is a Bank Holiday but ye can all meet up and discuss Dungarvan etc. at the AGM of the Senior Section.

Takes place in My Place at 8pm on Tuesday evening.

Please try and come along . Your club needs you. You must be a registered paid up member for 2023 in order to partake in this meeting.

The Full Club AGM will take place in March

National Indoors

Great results from the National Indoors in Athlone today. John Hennessy wins Silver the 1500m and Bronze in 800m Well done John Fantastic results.

Dungarvan 10 Mile

Sunday morning saw the Dungarvan 10 take place in ideal conditions and the early start seemed to suit everyone. We had a huge crowd of runners there and most seemed to have had fine runs.

Our first man home with a great run was Tim Hannon in 59.24 and our first lady with an equally great run was Susan McGrath in 68.32 which was super running from both runners.

PBs coming in have Tim Hannon, Declan Dorgan , Derek Ahern and Ger O'Regan all getting PB of over a minute or more.

Our Ladies Team of Susan McGrath, Breda Sheedy finished 13th and our Men's Team of Tim Hannon, Derek Ahern and Declan Dorgan 21st. So well done the ladies. Special mention to David Curtin making his debut over 10 miles and coming home in 76min.
