A Huge Thank You All


A huge word of thanks is extended to our many members who contributed to making last evening’s 27th annual Midleton AC Race one of the most successful ever.
Naming names is a dangerous game when it comes to ‘thank you’ notes, so where possible I am going to avoid that option. I’m sure you will agree that the selection of food supplied by so many, the number of stewards on duty and the variety of spot prizes are factors which stand out. But, there are also several more ‘behind the scenes’ issues which were undertaken willingly by our club members that took time, effort and commitment. To all who contributed in these areas, the organising committee are most grateful.
As a club we are fortunate to have the expert services of Ballycotton Running Promotions to co-ordinate entries and results – the follow up e mail will have all of last evening’s details. We say a special word of gratitude to John Walshe and the team for all their support and advice. To the many other bodies and individuals outside of our club that assisted we are also very appreciative.

Finally our club were delighted to present a cheque for 650 euro to Pat Buckley of the ‘Let’s Get Together Foundation’. 2 euro from each entry fee for the race went directly to their fund.
