Massive Thank You To All Our Colleagues

Due the risk of leaving out somebody, I will take the easy option and refrain from a roll call of ‘thank yous’ .  Instead – just a massive word of appreciation to all who played such a huge part in making last evening’s 5 Mile Race, the most successful in the modern day history of the club.  A few years back, we were attracting crowds of just over 200 – now we have topped the 500 mark.  Well done to all who helped, assisted and took part. -  Full results to follow later.

Just one of two other items before concluding –

-          Best wishes to anybody from the club who is taking part in the Bay Run on Sunday also to those doing the Marathon in Limerick.

-          There is a new 5K race in Drimoleague in West Cork on Bank Holiday Monday starting at 6pm.

-          The next BHAA race is the Pfizer’s 6 Miler in Ringaskiddy on Wednesday next – 8pm.

-          The Cork City Marathon is now just over 4 weeks away. So it’s time to consider organising relay teams.  A work colleague of our secretary Margaret Twohig is wondering if some runners would like to link up with her. The lady in question Aine Twomey may be contacted on   087-6133397
