Cross Country
Some of the club travelled to North Cork this morning to take part in the County Novice Championships and all had very fine runs. The course and conditions were very good and one can tell from the smiles on the faces they enjoyed it.
Siobhán O'Leary had a very good run finishing 5th overall.
Thanks to Siobhán O'Leary for the photo's.
Cork 2 Cobh
Everyone appears to be very pleased with their runs today which augers well for the big one in three weeks time. Our first man home was Morgan O'Regan and first lady was Helen Gilroy. The conditions were ideal for running and we were so lucky that we did not have yesterdays weather.
We were in the prizes also with Helen Gilroy coming 2nd O/50 and Marie Gillman 3rd O/55.
A big cheer must go to our fantastic group of supporters who were popping up everywhere both young and old.As the Whats App say MAC ABÚ,
Wishing everyone the very best running and training this weekend. We have runners doing the Cross Country, Carrigaline and the big one is the Cork 2 Cobh.
