WEEKEND RUNAROUND

Venice 2019

Report in from Declan Dorgan in Venice where he had a fine finishing time of 3.30. The conditions were very very warm and Declan found it very tough from the start finding it a lot tougher than the finishing time looks. Well done once again declan.

Dublin 2019

The AGONY and the ECSTACY

What a great day for most of our runners when many achieved their dreams and several PBs.
All in all it was fantastic to see so many out their earning the dividends for all the hard work that was put in.

It was brilliant to see the smiles on the faces of first timers coming near the finish and they knowing they were going to finish it and finish it they did in very fine style.
A special word of praise must go to the Midleton AC supporters who once again excelled themselves.

Showing the amazing spirit of Midleton AC . Dan Twohig and family with super support placards that his kids made.

Killian Devlin Ballinacurra an honorary Midleton AC man for the day. Killian asked to wear the Midleton AC vest in memory of his mam Frankie who unfortunately passed away recently. Frankie was one of our best athletes ever and had run many Dublin Marathons and encouraged many others including myself to do so too.
Thanks Killian for keeping the flame alive. Danny
