All Ireland Silver Medal For Sinead Keavney with the Cork Team in the Nationals
Once again Sinead Keavney did her club and county proud helping the Cork team to a silver medal position in Dundalk today where she was second scorer on the Cork team. This was after a week of colds and flu but no excuses are required this was an excellent result and as a club we are truly proud of her season. Well done Sinead and Orlagh thanks from all in Midleton AC.
( With results like these it was definitely worth missing the Christmas Party for.)
Orla Farmer also had a great run finishing 53rd and from all reports she also did our club proud with a superb start showing her experience and especially with little racing this year it is a fantastic result. Welcome back Orla.
Sinead with no 1 fan Rian who travelled all the way to support his Mam today in Dundalk .
There will be more exciting news on Sinead tomorrow but we are sworn to secrecy until the announcement but all club members will be delighted.
