Midleton AC has the highest entry of members from any club in the country. Once again its great to see Athletics Ireland (AAI) clubs as the only clubs listed. Remember also no transfers are allowed as this can play havoc with the overall results.

Last week, Ballycotton Running Promotions published the list of entries for the 40th Ballycotton 10 on its website, ballycottonrunning.com There are a record 4,061 athletes registered for the 2017 event, which will be held in the small east Cork fishing village of Ballycotton.

What a morning the largest crowd ever for the Captains Run. Congratulations to Capt. Anna Doris and her main crew of Edmond O'Sullivan and Vice Captain Mark Walsh.
There was well over a hundred people there and how wonderful to see families taking part. Well done everyone ye make this club the great club that it is and a great way to end our 50th anniversary.
