- 2 Big Ballintotis Christmas Events This Thursday
RELAY RUN AND LAP OF THE LAKE WALK
Looking forward to seeing you on December 27th for our annual charity run of the lake. This year we are doing it for Pieta House and all money raised will go to them. Race starts at 10.30 sharp so come early to get into your teams and the festive spirit. Don't forget we have a prize for the best dressed so get creative I'm sure there will be plenty competition. We're still taking names so if your not it give me a shout and we'll add you to the list.

Lap of The Lake
This year Ballintotis Area Community Council will again host the Lap of the Lake Walk as usual also on December 27th, beginning at 2.30pm. All welcome to come along and join friends and neighbours for a Christmas stroll and chat. Its is always a great day family event with people of all ages taking part. Light refreshments will be served afterwards in the Community Centre together with a raffle offering seasonal prizes. Even if you have already taken part in the Relay Run earlier in the day, why not return later on the same day for another Lap of The Lake.

Well over one hundred runners turned up for "The Captains Run" on Sunday morning and great fun was had by all. Entry was by donation the full amount collected will be announced later as will the charity it will be donated to. The first man home was Nick Parkinson and first lady was Maire Walsh. Prizes were awarded for various categories including best dressed runner which Sheila Bulman won. Special mention was given to Ned Ramsell who provides the hot water every year and to Edmond O'Sullivan who looks after the catering. Prizes were also given to the first two C2 5K runners home who were Tom Conlon and Enda Hogan. Well done to all especially Capt Claire Fitzgerald and Vice Capt Mark Walsh who put in some amazing work in organising the whole event.

 Belgooly 4Mile on St Stephens Day @ 12 noon.
