John Buckley 5Km

                                     Tuesday evening saw the John Buckley 5Km run over a new course. Gone are the two loops and now just one big loop. Most seemed delighted with the new course. We had a huge crowd there from the club and got some very fine results.

Vicki Spiteri continues to excel with another PB. That is two races and two PBs "since the babies" as she says. Well done Vicki.

We came away with loads of prizes as well. I know its not all about prizes or PBs but its nice to see members rewarded for the hard work they put in.

Helen Gilroy 2nd O/50, Marian Aherne 3rd O/50, Joan Hough 2nd O/60 and Kathleen O'Connell 1st O/65. Our men not to be outdone also got prizes. Edmond O'Sullivan 2nd O/50 and Neilus Aherne 2nd O/60.
As always the event was well organised and very well stewarded.
