Lots Of Medals for Midleton AC
Lots Of Medals for Midleton AC
We had a great crew of runners and supporters at the Cross Country Championships in Castlelyons on Sunday and we saw some very fine running from each and every one of them. Sineád O'Driscoll (Keavney) and Siobhán O'Leary had very fine runs and Sineád finished 2nd Lady whilst Joan Hough was solid as a rock as always and Siobhán Murphy making her debut at cross country had a great run and looked like a natural at it.
Our two men's teams also ran very well with with Team Captain Edmond O'Sullivan leading our Master Men home followed by John Cashman and Neilus Aherne. Ger O'Regan followed with a mighty run also especially considering his PB in the Dublin Marathon last weekend.
Big thanks to all our supporters who turned out as well.
Our Novice men's team were lead home by Club Captain Declan Dorgan who also had the Venice Marathon in is legs since last weekend. He was followed by Don McDonald, Andre Brodkerb and Dan Twohig who all had good runs.

Best of luck to all running this weekend whether in the BHAA or the Cross Country on Sunday. Even if you are not running why not take a trip out to Castlelyons on Sunday (15 mins drive) around noon and support your clubmates and see if you might like it. Even bring the kids but leave the dog at home.
