A crowd of almost 600 took to the roads of Ballycotton tonight and we saw some great running Sean McGrath held off Michael Harty over the last half mile to win again and in the ladies Lizzie Lee set a new course record and was followed home by some superb running from the ever improving Helen Leonard.
Our own crew did very well also the ladies being the only ones in the prizes but this in no way takes from some excellent running from our male athletes several of whom got PBs as did some of our ladies. Seeing so many doing well out there made watching the race a little easier and I apologise to anyone whose name I missed to cheer on but ye were coming so hard and fast it was hard to keep up. We had a fine number in the Top 50 Men and Top 20 Ladies too. The full club results are below and finally well done to the Development Squad members who completed it I was really proud of each and every one of ye Just shows how far ye have come and ye are well able for the other groups now.
