Cross Country Training
Cross country training will be starting next week. A group led by club member, Matt Chojan (fitness instructor and trail running enthusiast) will meet at the Curragh Woods carpark every Saturday at 9.00 am starting on Saturday, 10 August.
Anyone interested in cross country running is welcome. It will be a hilly session and could be mucky in places depending on the weather, so it would be advisable to wear runners with good grip. Ordinary road runners are fine, but not racing shoes and not brand new runners!
For anyone wishing to improve their running this is an ideal chance to do so.Just look at how improved some of the ladies are who did the cross country season last year are Helen, Anna, Michelle to name but a few.
Cross country is a team sport and is open to all levels. Yes all levels and everyone counts.So come on out on Sat. and see how it suits you.
