Leisureworld 5mile Ballincollig

This race saw a fine crowd cover this rather tough course tonight Wed. Unusual for us we had only a small number of athletes take part. Our first man home was John Cashman who is improving with every race he was closely followed by Sean O'Sullivan (after a hard training run the night before). Then came the only man to win a prize John O'Halloran who took 3rd O/60. Brian Healy recovering from injury also had a fine run.
We had only two ladies out Joan Mc Carthy and Mary Toher who both had their usual fine solid runs.
The race was very well organised with lots of stewards who were needed on the busy Ballincollig roads and in what has now become standard for the BHAA results were quickly available.
