ARMY/NAVY 5 MILE RINGASKIDDY

                                                                  Tonight saw the Army/Navy 5 mile race take place in Ringaskiddy. Starting and finishing in the Naval Base and taking in about three miles and hills of Ringaskiddy in between. Running into a stiff breeze there seems to have been some great times achieved.
                                     All of our members seemed to have great runs and those that didn't get prizes seemed to have got PBs and some got both.
                                     Emmet Ronan again ran sub 30 and got 3rd O/40  Noel O'Regan was 2nd O/45 whilst Fergal O'Meara was 3rd O/45 also Neilus Aherne 2nd O/55 and Donie O'Connell was 3rd O/60.
                                     Our ladies did great also Helen Gilroy well recovered from her National win on Sunday again took the 1st O/45 lady whilst Marie Gillman (38.25) continued with her winning streak taking 2nd O/50 and also got a PB. Others who had great runs and also got PBs were Martha McNamara 39.32 and Bernie Twomey 39 mins. Michael McNamara also got a new PB with 42.15.

AA Archer (Eugene McCarthy.Fergal O'Meara and Michael Murphy) took 1st Team Grade B.
