Another great nights running and racing in Cloyne Tuesday
evening with a new course record set by Michael Harty (14.49) and some superb running
all round. The numbers were down a little but that is to be expected with all
the races on at present but one would expect some better support from other
local clubs and running groups.
Anyway as always Midleton AC were out there and came home with great results. Once again PBs were the order of the day with Edwin Cashman, Alan Morley plus others. Paul Spiteri was our first man home with another fine run and its wonderful to see Kevin Smith getting back to where he belongs. Helen Gilroy had a great run and is well on the way to getting back to where she belongs too.
As always we had loads of prize winners . With Ann Geary 1st O/35, Marian Aherne 1st 0/45, Michelle McGrath 2nd O/45, Helen Gilroy 1st O/50, Joan Hough 1st O/55, Kathleen O’Connell 1st O/60, Margaret Barry 1st O/65. With results like that it proves our training is really paying off. New members always welcome.

Great credit must go to the organisers and club mate
Margaret Twohig for organising such a super night with a wonderful spread after and as always great prizes.
