So delighted to be able to report some fantastic results here today from Castlelyons
Women's Results
Midleton AC won the Novice Ladies Team with Sally Drennan, Sheila Buckley and Helen Gilroy.
also Sally Drennan 1st O/45, Helen Gilroy 2nd O/45 and Joan Hough 3rd O/45 and Sally Drennan was also 2nd Novice. Eileen Leahy on her very first cross country race took 1st Jnr.
Our men also did brilliant
1St O/45 Team (Noel O'Regan, Fergal O'Meara, John Cashman ,Barry Williams and Paul Kearns)
2nd Novice Team ( Brian Harty, Ethan Hayes, Noel O'Regan and Rod Scanlon)

So wonderful to see so many out there today working as a club and a team just proving what we are all about.

Sorry but no photos from here yet but reports say it was a fantastic day for running with Marie Gillman 2nd O/50 and Neilus Aherne 2nd O/55. Margaret Jones has a super run unbelievably knocking over 9 mins off her PB with a great run of 1.33.
Morgan O'Regan also had a great run. Whilst Peter Gunning went for a cruise and came home in 1.42.
Breda Sheedy had a great run also doing 1.42.22
And what a treat for Mike Cremin to have his new baby daughter to greet him on the finish line in a great time of 1.28.45
Denis Collins also had a great run knocking 4 mins off his pb with a great time 1:34:04 having ran a lot of the race assisted by Margaret Jones which shows what club running is all about.
